On Coaching

When you are quiet

When you are by yourself and get real quiet, what song does your soul sing?
What do you want to do with your life? What makes you happy?
What’s getting in the way?

I can help you learn to listen to your intuition, feel inspired, and take bold steps, all in a safe and supportive environment.

Coaching with me is effective, pragmatic and immediately applicable to your life. I will be a true partner along the way, your biggest fan. I will also question your assumptions and provide new perspectives so you can get unstuck and lead a more fulfilling life.

You may initially come to me to talk about a career change or plans for retiring but you will find that by working on one area of your life, you will make exciting changes in all areas of your life. Imagine what might be possible!

I have helped

  • Women who have reentered the workforce find work that they love
  • Visionaries voice their long-standing dreams and then make them happen
  • Men and women in almost every decade of adulthood uncover their unique path
  • Entrepreneurs learn to balance their passion for what they do with the logistics of running a business and often a household

Coaching is done by phone or Zoom and the first session is always complimentary. Send an email to [email protected] to get started. I look forward to hearing from you.

Coaching and Therapy

In some ways therapy and coaching are quite different and in other ways they are similar and even overlap. Coaching is generally action-oriented and focuses on how you can move forward in areas of your life where you might be stuck or are seeking inspiration. Coaching is often a good match for people who are facing a specific challenge, such as a job, career transition or starting a new venture. There is an emphasis on the “what” and “how” when looking at one’s challenges and goals.

Therapy often looks at the origins of belief systems that cause certain behaviors. In therapy one often examines the “why” of ones values and actions. Additionally a therapist is trained to help someone through trauma and then organize the attached emotions so that they can move into healing and action.

Some clients choose to do both coaching and therapy finding them mutually beneficial and complementary, and others spend time in each arena at one point or another reaping the benefits of each modality.

If you want to find out more about coaching, let’s set up a complimentary coaching session. You can reach me at [email protected].
