How do I start?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange a complimentary sample session. This session will take between 45-60 minutes. I believe that even in one session you will gain new insight and start to make those changes that you want most in your life.
How often do we have sessions?
You may prefer weekly sessions or every other week – together we can determine what is best for you.
How long does coaching last?
Coaching often lasts for about 6 – 8 months (assuming 2 hours of coaching per month) although it is not at all unusual to decide to continue coaching for a longer period of time, depending on the complexity of your goals. In my experience I have found that coaching is most powerful and effective when there is an initial three-month commitment. It is during this time that you will gain clarity about your vision of your most fulfilling life. You will also identify what is getting in your way and discover how to get through this. After this initial period, coaching then serves as a place of accountability, a place to get new perspectives, to receive encouragement, to stay focused and motivated.
Do we talk by phone or meet in-person?
I work with clients by phone, Skype, and in-person in Oakland, CA. You may prefer coaching on the phone because it fits into your workday and does not involve any travel. Alternatively meeting face-to-face may be an effective way for you to focus on the changes you want to make.
Please contact me regarding my fee. In addition to hour-long sessions, my fee includes email support between sessions as a means of sharing progress, challenges, and insights.
